What Does This MRI Test Result Of Spine For Persistent Back Pain Indicate?
I AM suffering from.middle.back pain for the last.six month .My name is pradeep..I am a teacher. On MRI scanning of dorsal spine shows.a.hyperintense lesion on.D8 vertebrea (Hemangioma) on T1 T2 weighted images and posterior disc bulge at L4/L5 and L5/S1.Who am l to consult? a.Ortho or Neuro.Any exercise to remove it.

Your MRI indicates problem in thoracic spine in form of a hemangioma which rarely needs treatment until and unless gets complicated with collapse of vertebral body or encroachment into neural canal which starts causing pain . With this you also have lumbar disc problem . You should avoid bending forwards and lifting any weight . Possible treatment of symptomatic large hemangiomas include embolization , surgical resection and radiotherapy . You should consult it further with orthopedic spine specialist . For lumbar problem regular Physical therapy is best treatment option
