What Does This UFR Report Mean?

HI, Below mentioned is my daughter s UFR test reports, she is 8years old, so i want to know this result is normal or not, please pay your kind attention on this, MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION PUS CELLS 2-4 /HPF RED BLOOD CELLS 6-8 /HPF EPITHELIAL CELLS 1-2 /HPF Thank you ! Tiral

Hi,

You mentioned your daughter is 8 years old, however, you forgot to tell about her symptoms. Anyway, I suspect you ran these test because your daughter experienced burning micturation and pain abdomen. Lets move to this report. Pus cells less than 4/HPF is not significant, but presence of red blood cells in urine can be due to ureteric stone, early starting of menstruation or traumatic cause. I suggest you visit your GP and relate this report with the clinical history.
