What Does This USG Abdominal Report Mean?

Sir, today my usg whole abd report came IMPRESSION:circumferential segment mural thickness with a suggestion of partial stricture formation of a bowel loop in rigjt infraumbilical region with associated mildly enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes-? Tubercular in etiology. Am i suffering from tb?

Hi thanks for contacting health care magic....

Noted you have mainly thickened wall and stricture with enlargement of mesenteric node....

So it could be of infective etiology ....
As here there is thickness of wall...So tuberculosis or typhoid ulcer stricture could be the cause........

To rule out perfect diagnosis you need an colonoscopy examination and subsequent biopsy ...That has to be sent for histopathological examination.......
If tuberculosis granuloma will be seen in microscopy....
If needed AFB stain can be done.....
