What Does This X-ray Indicate Regarding Broncho-pulmonary Failure?

Hi, im a woman of 65 years old, I had a bilateral pneumonia two months ago following a cholecystectomy. The x-ray before hospitalization was perfect. I was hospitalized for 1 week and 2 more weeks at home with antibiotics and rest, so i healed. After 3 months I made a new X-ray where it is Marked and common reinforcement design of the broncho-pulmonary failure with interstitial overload. hilar congested, not well decomposable .Clear costophrenic angles. Enlarged cardiac silhouette with ecstasia the aortic button . What does it mean? Should I be worried? (I was told that I have the lungs of a smoker but I have never smoked in my life, but I have lived with a smoker!). Has all of this to do more with pneumonia? or anything? Are my lungs at risk? thanks ps: sorry for my bad english im italian :)

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should first consult cardiologist and get done ECG and 2D Echo to rule out cardiac disease.
Because your x ray findings like
1. Enlarged heart shadow
2. Bilateral lowerzone hazziness with hilar prominence
Seen mostly with congestive cardiac failure (CCF).
Your age is also more (65) which also favours cardiac problem.
So I advice you to rule out CCF first by doing ecg and 2D Echo. If both are normal than get done CT THORAX to rule out pneumonia.
