Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I just have my Xray this past few week for my pre-employment I was pulled out that time and was suggest to go back when I have a clearance from a pulmonologist. The Xray says Fibrohazed densities t/c ptb but I don`t have any symptoms yet, my sputum result is negative. The pulmonologist told me to undergo a two week treatment and suggest another set of Xray, I was so devastated because on what I have read if a person have an inactive PTB he can resume to his work while taking treatments, could you please clarify this for me thanks a lot!
It can be an old and healer lesion probably an old tuberculosis. It is not an active disease as your sputum study is negative. Nothing much to worry and no treatment is required either.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
