Lung marking are coarse with non specific catarrhal changes seen in both hila and both lower zones.2.Aortic knuckle is prominent with aetheromatus cacification. others i.e Costophrenic angles ,Cardiac size & both Domes are clear normal & regular please suggest what should I do.My Sugar ,TSH & lipidprofile is normal. Present problem is shortness of breathing though I am taking Duolin & Suro flow inhaler two times & two palf. Thanking you ,Regards Amit Mukherjee
The X-ray chest shows normal lung fields. The catarrhal changes in hila and lower zones are sequelae of pneumothorax. Aorta shows deposition of atheromatous plaque with calcification in walls which is age related. Since, you have prescribed inhaler, it is evident that you are suffering from asthma. Asthma is caused by constriction of air ways which lead to shortness of breath. I suggest you to continue with inhaler and to consult your pulmonologist if symptoms deteriorate.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
