follow-up chest films since May 2,2011 shows significant interval clearing in the bilateral primary PTB infilirates and hilar lymphadenopathies. However, right paracardiac opacities are seen suggestive of pnuemonic process.Heart remains unenlarged.Diaphragm and bony thorax are unremarkable.
Right paracardiac opacities indicates infection. It may be due to pneumonia or recurrence of Tuberculosis. Firstly, broad spectrum antibiotics should be prescribed. In non responding cases,T.B should be ruled out. You need investigation like routine hemogram, mantoux test.PCR for T.B can be done if needed. Other findings are within normal limit.Heart, diaphragm and bony thorax are normal.
