I am 65 and active, in regular engineering maintenance job. No diabetic, no BP, wear glasses, Family with two married daughters. During a recent health examination, following were noticed : 1. Gall bladder stone , detected in Nov 2014- no problems , but during last weeks , felt bloating and mild pain in upper abdomein, disappeared after 2 hrs after taking antacid etc. no pain killer used. Todays Ultrasound reports - Gall Bladder- is contracted and lumen is obliterated & filled with multiple calculi and wall is thickened all over- chronic cholecystitis with cholelithiasis Liver - mildly Fatty. Prostate - mildly enlarged, Post void urine 10 ml. Others OK 2. Total cholesterol - 238, HDL 44, LDL-165, Triglyceride 227, Echo - OK, TMT - OK, ECG OK, can work 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week Advice- Need for GB removal and immediate or wait ?
