What Does This Below Case History Report Indicate?
My father is 78 years of age, suffers from dimentia as doctors say, case history reads:Presented with history of behavior, dysasthesia & mood changes for pat 2 years in the form of paresthesiac, dysasthesia with history of visual & audotary , halluucinations without any change in memory disturbances. patient has developed intermittent freezing while walking, slowing of gait. patient is able to walk with support goes to toilet, takes bath eats by himself. patient had suffered compressed disc seven years ago and is almost athome since then.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern given history is suggestive of psychiatric case, and may need some antipsychiatric drugs or counselling and for that he needs consultation with some psychiatrist, but I would suggest to have a opinion form physician too to rule out the systemic disease, your father would be in a need of some tests, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
