I read your query and I understand your concern. I am afraid one can not establish the diagnosis by means of those tests only. Those tests should be done to look for common metabolic changes and conditions as well as inflammation signs, but to make the diagnosis physical examination and other possible exams like X-ray could be necessary. The tests indicate a high erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) which is a test which can be altered by many conditions, in her case most probably by inflammation of the ankle joint or infection (but as I said doesn't indicate the exact cause). As for the hemoglobin and platelet count they are only very slightly altered, almost normal, if no other signs I wouldn't worry too much about them, perhaps would test them again in a month to compare possible changes. So you should see your physician again to discuss his findings during the visit, necessity of other tests for diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime she can take over the counter painkillers like Ibuprofen. I hope to have been of help.
