What Does This Blood Report Indicate?

i had my cbc last saturday and sunday. First result, my platelet is 186. Second test is 176. third was 136. I had on and off fever since tuesday night. doctor said that i have dengue fever but not that serious so i was sent home and ask to take paracetamol and rehydrate with water. I just want to know if theres anythingelse i can eat that can help me recover fast. Thank you

Hi.

A drop in your platelet count is expected with dengue fever and it usually recovers on its own. Plums have reported to help with an increase in the platelet count, you can try them. Other than that, the body does all that is required, so just make sure you rest and stay as healthy as possible during the recovery period.
