Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
HI Doctor, I am male - 29 years old, I have done a blood test and found the following variances, M.C.H.C - 44.1%, R.D.W - C.V - 16.0 %, Platelet on Smear - Few Macro Platelets seen ; platelet count - 51000 Total RBC - 3.24 IS THERE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, HOW SHOULD I PROCEED FURTHER
I think you are having elevated levels of MCHC, RDW CV, and platelets and low levels of erythrocytes. You may need to test hemoglobin, ferritin and possibly need electrophoresis. Visiting a hematologist is advisable.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
