Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The lab reports show elevated white blood cells with neutrophilia. An increase in white blood cell count with neutrophilia is suggestive of bacterial infection.

I suggest you consult your pediatrician for clinical assessment and thus management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
