General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The need for dialysis is determined by the nephrologist via clinical parameters evaluation with co relation of supportive data. The usual symptomatic control if not obtained by diet care, fluid balance and supportive medications; dialysis can be the next option before the renal transplant consideration.

The following measures will help her:
- Fluid intake restriction as per the guidelines
- Salt restricted or salt free diet
- All dairy fat, spices, non-veg, high protein diet has to be strictly avoided
- Control of blood pressure
- Regular visit to her nephrologist

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
