General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Based on the report you have posted, your son is suffering from Typhoid fever.
He has been put on Levofloxacin antibiotic by the doctor, which would help him to fight the illness.
He needs to complete the course of antibiotic as prescribed by the doctor. Let him take adequate rest for a week and he needs to avoid strenuous physical activity during this time.
Also, he needs to be on bland easy to digest diet for 3 weeks as it takes this time for complete recovery. He can consume more of water and fruit juices during this period.
Wish him quick recovery from his illness.
