Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have tested my blood test as I have 66 SGPT(ALT). SGOT is 43. But my HB1c is 7.5, fasting blood sugar is 109 and post lunch is 245. How to reduce them. I am taking medicines 1. Gluconorm G2forte in the morning and Glukonorm G1forte in the night after meals. In addition to that I take ecosprin 75 and adtrovin 10mg in the night. Please Dr how too reduce both abnormal.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. I have gone through the reports you have attached. You are having high HbA1C and high post prandial blood sugar level. You are taking oral hypoglycemic agents (OHA). You will also have to take additional OHA, voglibose and piglitazone in the afternoon before lunch to reduce post prandial blood sugar. Strict diet control and exercise are also beneficial for glycemic control. Don't worry, your blood sugar and HbA1C levels will be controlled with all these. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
