What Does This Blood Test Result For High Fever And Cough Indicate?

Dear doctor,since last 3 days i have high fever and cough, yesterday i went to hospital and i did all test like malaria, widal, dengue, CBC. so i found that every test is negative but my monocyte count increased by 12.5%, eosinophils reduced by 0.3%, and my MCV is 80.3 fl and MCH is 26.3 pg. and platelets is 155 thous/cu. mm. so i am waried about the my health. Hence, i want to know that, how can i bring the balance between all these?

Hello,

A cough and high fever could indicate a chest infection. A high monocyte count adds to the evidence that you are fighting off an infection.
Have you had a chest xray? I would advise you to have that done to establish a diagnosis.
