What Does This Blood Test Result While Having Levothyroxine Indicate?

Hello there, I had a complete thyroidectomy in 1998. I have been taking levothyroxine every since. After much hard work I have lost 12 pounds through exercise (cardio and weight lifting) and healthy eating. I recently had bloodwork done. Can you help me understand my results? (as I have to wait until Monday to see my Endo.) Free Thyroxine 1.72 ng/dL Free Triiodothyronine (T3) 2.45 pg/mL TSH 3rd gen 1.30 uIU/mL any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. J

Hello,

You have to increase thyroxine dosage as some more thyroid replacement is needed. And you will lose weight adequately when the thyroid is replaced.
