I am a smoker 1 pack a day. I don t drink alcohol. I take Otc nexium and get allergy shots.
Based on the history and the report of blood tests you seem to be suffering from a condition called polycythemia apparently caused by chronic smoking. Polycythemia means increased red blood cells with hemoglobin and hematocrit values. Chronic tobacco smoking is one of common causes of secondary polycythemia. Nexium a proton pump inhibitor used for stomach acidity related issues is unlikely to cause polycythemia.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
