Hello and welcome to HCM,
Widal test is an antigen antibody test done to detect antibodies against Salmonella typhi and paratyphi bacterial antigen.
The test is done againft O and H antigens.
The test is reported as antibody titres.
Titre of 1:80 and above is suggestive of infection.
The antibody titres for Salmonella typhi O and H both are raised and titres against Salmonella paratyphi are low.
Thus, Salmonella typhi infection is present and typhoid is confirmed.
Consult your primary health provider for prescription of drugs against typhoid infection.

Thanks and take care
Dr Shailja P Wahal
