What Does This Brain CT Scan Test Result Indicate?
Dear sir I am given you CT Scan report plse send me report details. Repot: cranial computed tomographic examination technique . Plain CT scan of head & brain was obtained from the base of vertex as 5&10 m thick Axial section in series without section. Finding: here is a ring like enhancing lesions without centeral speck in left posterior parietal lobe with perifocal edema. he cisternal space ,cortical sulcii are well visuallsed and appear within normal limits. The ventericles are normal in size. The infratentorial compartments show no abnormality. No intracraniai haemorthage noted. There is no shift of midine structure. The skill vault bone , pituatary fossa,parasasal sinuses, internal auditory conals,meati. . Appear normal.the eye balls,optic nerves & saft tissue,scaple are normal.

dear friend the CT indicates a lesion in left side of your brain in the side lobe called parietal lobe in its back side, the character of the lesion indicates an infective or a parasite etiology like cysticercosis ot Tuberculosis. please see your treating neuro physician for further clarification. by the way why was the ct ordered was it for investigation of seizure disorder ? if so the cause is now apparent and treatment can begin ASAP
