General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The CT chest with fibrosis strands and focal pleural thickening indicate chronic lung parenchyma disease as interstitial lung disease or others. Various possible causes can be:
@ Idiopathic (primary)
@ Secondary as Asbestosis, Beryliosis, Silicosis, radiation damage, drug induced as anti cancer or other anti arrhythmic

However, clinical co relation with symptoms as well as other reports of lung biopsy would be best to assist further in details.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
