Hi am shad 28 years old. i had an chest xray then requirement for overseas job. I was shocked of the result it says that i have a: fibroid scarring of right periphery right infraclavicular region and fibrotic clavicular scarring. Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the x ray report you have mentioned.
This is suggestive of some old healed lung infection.
You are might be having lung infection like pneumonia or tuberculosis in childhood which was healed and produced this fibrotic lesions.
It is normal healing. Since these are scarred lesions, they are inactive and hence no treatment is required.
Better to consult pulmonologist and get done CT thorax and bronchoscopy.
If these are negative for active infection, you can argue with visa authorities for your job.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
