What Does This Electrocardiogram Report Indicate?

I m showing sinus Brady with t wave abnormalities in leads ii, and v3; also have inferior ischemia on my 12 lead. I am a 27 y/o male, I understand this could be related to over exertion (I exercise approximately 14-18 hours a week), or a potassium deficiency. Should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Any ECG should be interpreted according to the symptoms a patient has. In your case, being a young female, if you have not had congenital heart problems, it is unlikely this is a worrisome finding.

Bradycardia means that your heart is beating less than 60 times per minute and this is a common finding in athletes (people that exercise).

On the other hand, you will need to follow the instructions of your doctor when it comes to needed follow-ups and if the doctor has recommended you to take any specific treatment.

I hope this is helpful. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
