Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... good morning doctor My wife had a embryo transfer on 21.1.2011. 30th we had hsbc test and it was showing 34.03. again on 1st we had a test and i was showing 28. kindy advice the pregnancy

Hi i did review your concern. I would believe that you meant hcg after embryo transfer and not hsbc. Well HCG test after embryo transfer is used to detect the progress of pregnancy as it helps in assuring that placenta has formed and proper early growth is occuring. Unfortunately a falling HCG levels are a sign of loosing pregnancy. You can consult your doctor and monitor using serial hcg tests and ultrasounds to detect progress of early trimester post embryo transfer pregnancy.
