What Does This Eosinophil Count Indicate?

Hi, My recent blood test showed that my eosinophils reading was flagged high. Apparently it is supposed to be less than .6 Mine is .8 Do I need to be concerned, have it checked out? Jan Sorry, I didn t know that this wasn t free. I ll have to get the answer from my doctor.

High eosinphoil count known as eosinophilia. It occurs commonly in infection or inflammation. Common causes are parasitic infection, allergy to food and medication, toxin, tumor, auto immune disease etc.
Consult a doctor and find out a cause, So treatment can be taken according to cause.
