What Does This Follicular Test Result For Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi Doc, I am 28yrs and i have been trying to conceive for over 1yr now. I was on clomid 100mg from Day 2-6 this cycle; on day 9 i went for a follicuar study and it showed 3 follicles on my right ovary (14mm, 13mm and 10mm); that same day i was given a HMG injection to boost the stimulation. I went for another study on day 12 and the report shows 28mm, 24mm and Atretic. My doc administered HCG injection for me the same day. please when am i likely to ovulate and also what is the best sexual intercourse positions that allow deep penetration for high deposit of semen? Also, what days should i target for sexual intercourse for optimal result?

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the HCG injection day and intercourse should not be apart more than 48 hours as there are best chances of active follicle around 2-3 days post HCG injection therapy.

* So far as best position is concerned, yourself lying on back with foot end of bed elevated for around 30 - 40 degrees and hubby up for intercourse is best method to get highest possible deposit of semen into the cervical canal.

* It is also recommended for rest position for a period of 10 minutes after ejaculation of semen rather than excess movements of legs or engaging in other sexy plays.
