Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a cancer survivor and had my Thyroid removed 30 + years ago. My Thyroid is been un balanced for the last 6 months. I have lost 40 pounds, dealing with diarrhea constantly and my peripheral neuropathy is out of control. Just got my latest labs and my T4 Free is .086 and TSH is 1.92. I am taking Synthorid 137micrograms - 6 per week. My doctor has reduced my dose 3 time in the past months. Are all of these problems related? Thanks you Debbie Mulenex
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, your symptoms may not be due to medical condition that you have but this could be non specific and no need to worry about this because this could be self limiting (Diarrhea) take care in diet and try to low down the stress, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
