Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Gastroscopy finding against Duodenum is No ulcer/scarring/deformity seen.Second part seemed to be forming an extra loop and could not be intubated.. A.Gopai Rao India
The radiologist could not push the endoscope (which a tube like structure which is used for visualizing the inner lining of stomach and intestines during endoscopy/gastroscopy) further from the first part of duodenum and extend it to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th part of duodenum due to a loop which is normally not present. It could be a congenital anomaly however there is nothing to bother about it unless it is obstructing your food passing from stomach to duodenum and further forward area called jejunum.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
