What Does This Heart Rate Indicate While Suffering From Cellulitis On Arms?
I m at 59-year-old female and have a heart rate of 113. I was just diagnosed with cellulitis on my arm where my flu shot is and have a white count of 25,000. I was on fluids and antibiotics all day in the emergency room and they said I could go, only if I would drink lots of water because my heart rate was so high. Or they could put me on fluids again. The problem is that I think I m still running fever because I m sweating like crazy. I m assuming that takes away from my fluids. How dangerous is heart rate of 113? Thank you
dear madam fever, dehydration both can raise heart rate, as your fever comes down and hydration improves your heart rate will come down 113 is not too dangerous a heart rate for your age but still can be considered to be high if there is no other symptoms please relax it will come down as cellulitis and infection settles down and fever breaks
