What Does This Hemoglobin Result With Other Values Mean?

hello, I just got back my blood work results and I would like to know what some of it means... my hemoglobin is 17.2 high hematocrit is 50.1 high mcv 104 high mch 35.7 high bun is 5 low bun/creatinine ratio is 6 low I have no clue what any of this means I read up a little bit about it but scared me, me on what I did read so please help me to understand

Based on your query my opinion is
1. Your hemoglobin is slightly above the normal range
2. The parameters related to RBC are also higher, this points to a condition called polycythemia
3. Polycythemia needs to be evaluated as it can cause complications like thrombosis and infarction of vital organs.
4. However if you are living at high altitude, these values are considered normal as it is a normal response to hypoxia.
