What Does This Lab Report Indicate?

I received test results back sayin there is mild prominence of right renal collecting system and Miley enlarged proximal right Ureter. Suggestive of mild hydroephrosis. Bilateral. Urethane jets are noted within the bladder, can you help me out and explain what this actually means? Thanks

Hi & Welcome.

Incomplete data like age, gender, purpose of doing the test or any symptoms of urinary tract???

Based on the result of the test done you seem to have hydronephrosis (distention of the renal calyces and pelvis with urine) and hydroureter (dilatation of ureter with urine) on right side.

It is suggestive of some obstruction to the flow of urine which could be due to kidney stone.

You are advised to consult a urologist for further evaluation and certain tests such as CT scan or IVP.

Hope this will help.
