General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello! I just read your problem and understand your concern. Diffuse liver disease can be from several factors-- alcohol, fatty liver, infection, drug-induced, etc. From the result of you SGOT, it seems it still manageable, however, an SGOT is not enough to clearly say everything is stable. Additional tests (other liver function tests --SGPT, ALP, Bilirubin, albumin; Protime, Hepatitis profile, etc) are needed to evaluate you thoroughly to know what's causing the liver disease and give you the management once completely worked-up.
