What Does This Pelvic And Bladder Scan Report Indicate?
I had been on birth control pills for an year and then stopped in July last year.Thereon I had periods twice a month.I have not had my periods in jan and february.I had my periods in march after the doctor precribed me with some tablets.I had my scan done .I was asked to get a scan done The SCAN report Details
Rt Ovary: m.s.c.
Lt ovary: m.s.c. folicles 1.2 x 1.2 cm
Examination performed: USG transabdominal and transvaginal scan
Bladder: Configration and wall thickness normal. No evidence of calculus. Urine is clear.
Uterus: Normal measuring 6.8 x 4.7 x 3.2 cms. Myomaterial echoes normal. Endomaterial cavity normal.
OVARIES: Both ovaries are normal in size. The right ovary measures 3.3 x 2.3 x 2.1 cms. The left ovary measures 3.2 x 2.1 x 2.2 cms. Multiple cysts are seen in both ovaries suggestive polycystic ovaries.
IMPRESSION: Normal bladder and uterus study.
So this is the whole report. Now I am giving you the names of medicines I am using right now as per the doctor.
Metformin with Benfotiamine tablets (brand name Benforce M) once a day in the morning
Vitamins and mineral tablets (ANofer)
Doxycyclin monohydrate and ornidazole tablets (Dobact-dox)
Utorine Tonic 2 spoons daily
All the tablets are one tablet once in the morning after food.
I have been asked to have abdominal scans on a regular bases.I am not sure if i do have to have them on regular basis.I want to conceive.I need some advice.Hope this wont affect my chances of pregnancy.
