What Does This Pelvic Scan Report Signify?
Good morning Doctor, Please I did pelvic scan and the sonographic findings are. Acyesis Normal uterus HVS for M/C/S is however advised for further evaluation following clinician decision. Please i want to know the meaning of those findings. Thank you

Acyesis means lack or absence of pregnancy. Normal uterus- no changes or problems in the uterus, which is good.
HVS- high vaginal swab (a swab from the vaginal area) for MCS (microscopy and culture/sensitivity)
MCS- microscopy means that the swab would be examined on microscope, culture/sensitivity- culture means checking for bacteria or other organisms and sensitivity means determining which antibiotics would work best if bacteria is found.
