What Does This Radiology Report For Coccyx Pain Indicate?

Hi There.I have a pain in my coccyx, my medical aid gave me a waiting period for spondylolysis, spondylolisthesis and yet when i went to hospital my radiology report says the following.LUMBAR SPINE AND PELVIS, SACRUM AND COCCYX.A normal alignment is seen of the lumber spine. No Spondylolysis or Spondylolisthsis,Mild end plate degenerative changes seen in the vertebral bodies of L3,L4 and L5,No Wedge compression of the vertebral bodies. The intervertebral disc spaces are normal. The facet Joints and posterior elements are within normal limits. The bony ring of the pelvis in intact Both S1 and hip joints are normal. There is an angulation at the tip of the coccyx visible but an obvious fracture is not seen. The alignment is otherwise within normal limits. What i am trying to find out, is Spondylolysis/Spondylolisthesis what i am suffering from or is it something completely different as medical aid does not want to treat me for the problem at hand... I have looked up on the net and Coccydynia is more of what i am experiencing now. Are these related. Please i need some help with this, as i am not hypochondriac and believe my medical aid is trying to get away with murder here.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Studied your query in full depth of its details.Reviewed it in context of your health concerns.
Based on the facts of your query,You with Coccyx pain problem, seems to suffer from-Coccydynia in reality.Which is confirmed in your radological report,Mostly due to the unnoticed fall on the low back/buttocks.
The wrong presumption of your Medical aid,has guided you on the assumption of Spondylolysis / Spondylolisthesis. Why he did this,he ONLY can best answer for it?I would keep My fingers crossed as this forum is to advise on your health concerns. The rest is out of perview of this platform.
In My opinion Coccydynia V/S Spondylolisthesis and Spondylolysis are not related in any way and are far from each other.

Hope this reply would satisfy you and would help you to plan further treatmentwith your doctor there.

Welcome any further query in this regard, which would be replied in next session.

Will appreciate YOU,to write your excellent review feedback comments of this service experience, to help the needy patient visitors like YOU, at HCM services.

Good Day!!
