What Does This Report Signify: Monocytes % H 10.5,Eosinophil % H 7.0,Potassium L 3.4,Creatinine L 0.54,Alk Phos H 266,Bili Total L 0.1?
My 8 year old has complained about a stomach ache for a month. The doctor order blood, urine and still test. His tests came back as follows: Monocytes % H 10.5, Eosinophil % H 7.0, Potassium L 3.4, Creatinine L 0.54, Alk Phos H 266, Bili Total L 0.1. What do these mean?

The analysis of the laboratory parameters that you have mentioned is as follows:
1. The levels of alkaline phosphatase and total bilirubin are within normal limits.
2. There is slight increase in monocytes and eosinophils- The upper limit for monocyte is 10% and eosinophils is 6%, however, the increase is just slight.
Monocytes are increased in chronic infections and eosinophils are increased in parasitic infections.
