Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a heart scan which showed there was a bulge in my D1 artery which the consultant reported would cause future problems. Subsequently, I was admitted for a CT scan with a view to having a stent fitted. They didn t fit a stent as they said no blockage was found. I m worried in case the bulge could be an aneurysm
Hello and welcome to HCM, A bulge in the artery could be due to an anuerysm. An aneurysm is best diagnosed by MRA or magnetic resonance angiography. Thus, I suggest you to get MRA done after consultation with your referring doctor.
