What Does This Result From Pap Smear Indicate?

Hi I'm maiden 27 yrs old my result in papsmear are specimen adequacy: satisfactory for evaluation. Description Diagnosis: benign cellular changes. Infection:others.Bacilli . Reactive: inflammation ( includes atypical repair) . Comments: severe inflammation ,abundant neutrophils...can you please explain it to me...I am so nervous...thank you

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Your pap smear result show that you have benign cell change ( there was no evidence of cancer or precancerous condition), but there is heavy damage at cellular level.
There is severe infection with abundance of neutrophils ( a type of white blood cells). These type of white blood cells are seen abundantly in case of bacterial infection.
So all together this report shows you have severe bacterial infection in cervix or vagina

Refer to your gynaecologist
