What Does This Routine Health Check-up Test Result Mean?

Dear Dr. I got my routine health check-up done last week and below are the abnormalities. I doubt some of these e.g. HDL + LDL is not equal to Total cholesterol. Rest all the reports (Incl. LFT, KFT, HbA1C, CBC etc.) are ok. Any Advice? Eosinophils - 8.1 Basophils - Absolute - 0.1 Eosinophils - Absolute - 0.54 MCV - 100.4 MCHC - 30 RDW - SD - 49.4 LDL Cholesterol Direct - 150 HDL Cholesterol Direct - 52 Total Cholesterol - 224

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Total cholesterol = LDL + VLDL + HDL.
Normal TC:
Normal VLDL:
Normal LDL:
Normal HDL: 50-60

So your LDL that is bad cholesterol is high thats why total cholesterol is high
Other blood report is normal

Start exercise regularly 45 minutes in morning
Check for blood sugar , hypertension and cardiac marker every 4-6 month to prevent complication of diabetes and cardiac disease.
Take small frequent meal rather tha large meal
Take garlic and onion in diet regularly
Avoid coldrinks and high corn syrup

Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
Avoid fatty and spicy food
