What Does This Semen Analysis Indicate?

Hi, This SDM (Uddin)
I had given my semen to analyse with a gap of 14 days of intercourse, and when I had ejaculated the semen the gap between lab and ejaculation was 45 minutes.
my semen analysis report is as follows :
Amount 3.5 ml
Color White
Viscosity Present
Liquifiction 30 mts
Reaction Alkaline (8.0)
Sperm Count / ml of Semen 50
Excellent Forward Progression 10%
Slugish Forward 10%
Non Motile 80%
Abnormal 05%
Pus Cells 4-5/Hpf
Epithelial Cell 0-1/Hpf
R.B.C. 1-2/Hpf
Other Nil

(a) So can you explain that intercourse long gap can be factor ?
(b) Ejaculation of semen and lab time 45 minutes is factor ?
(c) Or anything else can be factor ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
i appreciate your concern
45 minutes matters if semen was not stored properly
Looking at your reports it shows that your 80% sperms are non motile only 10% shows forward movements that could be the only reason for infertility

In my opinion your need further hormonal study and examination to rule out the cause for low motility

Hope this helps you
take care
