my husband s semen analysis follows Vol.1.03ml PH-8.6 Concentration-40 million/ml Rapid L. P-05% Slow progression-60% Non-progressive-10% Immotile-25% Morphology Head defects-78% Midpiece Defects-8% Tail D.-4% WBC -2-4/hpf is there any problem in this report?We have one child of 5years.but we failed to hav one more child for the last 3 years.Lab result is recently taken.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. After going through your husband's semen analysis report, the following things can be concluded: Semen volume is in the lower normal limit. There is no indication of infection. Sperm count and other physical features are normal. But sperm motility is less and sperm morphology shows many defects. Hence his fertility chances are less. He can take medications like Carnitine, CoQ10 and Vitamin E for a month and see if these things improve. Kindly take opinion regarding this from an Andrologist. Then you can decide accordingly. All the best.
