We have been trying to conceive for the last 25 months (married for 3.5 yrs).
Last period was on 16.3.12 and nothing since then,sonography says :
Left Ovary is normal in size, shape & echo texture (28*10*25mm vol-3cc) Right Ovary is bulky measuring 33*35*23mm vol-14cc & shows multiple sub centremetric cysys

Please advise if I'm suffering from PCOD or PCOS, I'm 25 yrs old and weigh around 100 kgs but deseparetly trying for a baby
There is a radiological criteria for PCOS and the scan may show sonographic features of polycystic ovaries
50% women have the bilateral enlarged ovaries with multiple small follicles increased ovarian size (> 10 cc) 12 or more follicles measuring 2 - 9 mm follicles of similar size peripheral location of follicles : which can give a string of pearl appearance hyperechoic central stroma the ovarian outline may be slightly irregular
25% women may show hypo-echoic ovary without individual cysts
25% women have normal ovaries
Though your ultrasound report does not specifically indicate PCOS, it must be discussed with your clinical symptoms.
