What Does This Sonography Test Result For Abdomen In Children Indicate?

12 year old active football player c/o servers and pain and requested to go to ER. WBC and all lab normal to full out appendicitis. Has no temp prior to ER and has been taking Tylenol since. Sono showed a fluid filled pocket above belly button. Dr stated this was a virus. Child is still in pain only in that area. Stated he was on fire and felt like he was going to explode.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is something specific findings are there then it need to be further investigated for right diagnosis and in my opinion CT of abdomen is best till then it is advisable to have complete best rest, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
