Hello dear I understand your concern Mri suggests disc problem. Herniated disc produce swelling and nerve compression symptoms like pain and numbness. To relieve pain take following advises: Bed rest, tablet diclofenac + seritopeptidase and muscle relaxant like tizanidine. Take in appropriate does by consulting the spinal surgeon Keep the pillow under the knee. You can also apply analgesic ointment like volini. You can follow this advice for 6-8 week If symptoms persists then surgery is the final option. Hope this may help you
