What Does This Stool Analysis Report Signify?

Sir Recently i have tested my stool for R/E and OBT My results are given below Physical Examination Colour Yellow Consistency Soft Mucus. Present Blood. Not visible Chemical Examination Reaction. Acidic Occult blood. Positive Microscopical Examination Ova. Not found Larva. Not found Pus cell. A few R.B.C. Present Crystals. Nil Macrophage.Cells. Nil Fat Droplets. Nil Vegetables Cells. Present Starch Cell. Nil Protozoa. Nil Tropic Form not found Cystic From. Not found Is everything okay with these results please tell me doctor.

Hello,

Your report is not completely normal. It is suggestive of parasitic enteritis like condition. Here which parasite ova are present is not mentioned. So, a repeat stool routine micro examination needs to be done to rule out which ova present.

If it is of nematode group, then Albendazole drug is needed. If an amoeba organism is present, then Ornidazole drug is needed. Consult the physician for the examination.
