hi dr. my name is jasica and age 30 my stool examination reoprt ----stool color brownish consistency semi solid micus absent blood absent others absent ova absent cyst absent pus cells occasional macrophages absent r.b.c absent trophozoite absent occult blood 6.5 ..this report is normal or not please answer me,thank you

All the results of stool tests are normal except occult blood is mentioned as 6.5.Normal adults usually show less than 2 to 3 mg/gm.Blood in the stool means there is likely some kind of bleeding in the digestive tract. It may be caused by a variety of conditions, including Polyps, Hemorrhoids, Diverticulosis,Ulcers,Colitis, a type of inflammatory bowel disease or colorectal cancer.
