What Does This Stress ECHO Test Report Indicate?

I had and exercise stress echo and the result was abnormal. My doctor states it this way...L and cors and Aortic root (moderate aortic valve insufficiency as well as inferior wall and apical ischemia.) I am scheduled for a Cardiac Cath tomorrow and from what I am reading I think I am looking at having an Aortic Valve Replacement. (and possibly stents if blockages are found) My blood tests all came back fine. Total Cholesterol level was 192...

Hello! Thank you for asking on HCM! Regarding you concern seems that your exercise stress echo have discriminated an ischemic problem; but the exact extent of your coronary problems will be revealed by coronary angiogram. If diffuse coronary lesions are detected (in 2 or 3 vessels), then the most reasonable strategy of treatment is CABG (by pass) + Aortic valve replacement. Hope to have been helpful! Greetings.
