What Does This Thyroid Test Report Indicate?

Hello Doctor. This is radhika choudhary, F/23 from Allahabad. From Past few months i was having a problem in digestion through throat and in breathing. When undergone a Thyroid test on consultation of a doctor, report stated the following:-

T3- 96 ng/dl

T4- 7.80 ug/dl

TSH- 8.53 uIU/ml.

Kindly suggest.

Thanks for posting your query to HCM .

Your Thyroid report shows mildly elevated TSH level indicating you are having Hypothyroidism . But the problems you have mentions that is , problem in digestion through throat and in breathing is not related to thyroid .

Unless you have any other symptom related to Hypothyroidism like Excess weight gain , Intolerance to cold , Dry Skin , Hair loss , Loss of appetite , Irregularities in your periods , you don't need any medication for the Thyroid problem .

But repeat Thyroid Profile test after 6 months .
