General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history and the given report of thyroid function tests, you seem to be suffering from secondary hypothyroidism. Secondary (or central) hypothyroidism is caused by diseases of the pituitary gland or hypothalamus.

You are advised to see an endocrinologist for further evaluation and relevant tests to rule out involvement of other glands such as adrenals, ovaries and testes since the pituitary gland also regulates these glands.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
